The Journaling Never Stops
Well last week I thought that the journaling got kinda hard, I was hoping that we were done...but no. Last week we had to fill out the general journal. This week we continued to learn about the general ledger and finally the trial balance form. Sadly...I didn't know what to do for the trial balance sheet because I wasn't in class when we learned what to do. We had a quiz on Friday and I still have so much to do. I am almost done with the general journal sheet. It makes me even more nervous because I wasn't in school to work on it Friday so I have to make it up on my own time. I hope that after school on Monday I can be either caught up or almost caught up. I really hope that the journaling part of class isn't on the midterm because it takes me forever to do just because I want to make sure everything is right. Thankfully after midterms there isn't that much school left for the seniors! I am so excited to see where everyone is going and to see what they want to do with the rest of their lives! It is a little sad that I will probably never see most of the people in my class again, but that's what reunions are for. Its getting harder and harder to pay attention in class because all I can think about is college. I really hope that after midterms the teachers realize that we only have a few weeks left and don't overload us with work. That's one thing the seniors last year told me...that the teachers tried to squish all the work they didn't give us in the 1st semester and the 2nd semester work into the few weeks that we have left...and it was really hard to keep up because there wasn't enough time. I'm really excited that the final for Business is a project because I'm really not going to want to sit down and take an exam. But the final will be kind of nerve wracking because we have to create something and present it in a Shark Tank type scenario.

This Week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This week was finally a normal week. The main thing we did this week was journaling. At first it was really easy and I was excited to be doing it because it was going to be an easy A. But on Friday...sadly it got harder. I can still do it, but it's just harder than the first part of journaling that we did. We also took a quiz on Wednesday...I didn't do too well. I thought I understood everything but my quiz said otherwise. Thank God that Mrs. Weser didn't count the quiz because apparently a lot of people didn't do that good either. She said that it was just a gauge at how well everyone did...and apparently we needed a lot of work. We played monopoly for a couple days, at first I was dreading it because I don't like playing board games...but actually it wasn't that bad! I also was dreading even more keeping a journal of all of my transactions. But on the second day it was just so easy because all I had to do was keep track of everything I paid for or spent money on...so after a few transactions it got very repetitive and was easy! We also watched shark tank. I haven't seen it before this class...and I have learned to love it. Actually one of the inventions that we watched about. I got the college scholarships app. I still haven't used it yet...but I'm planning on setting it up soon! Next week we are doing something more with journaling...hopefully it won't be more complicated!

Almost a full week of school!
This week was finally somewhat back to normal. We did have another snow scare...but it blew over..and we got out of school 2 hours early and started school 2 hours late the next day...I could get use to that!! But this week in Econ we took a quiz on everyone's business law presentations. Thankfully..the quiz was no where near as hard as the country quiz...and we even got to use our notes for five minutes...that was extremely helpful because there were a few questions I didn't know! We also watched shark tank. I love that show now and find it so interesting and amusing to watch! I love seeing who gets a deal and who sadly doesn't. We also discussed the ford pinto case. There was a class discussion about it...and I hope I got a 100 because I talked as much as I couldn! I believe that ford should have gotten in more trouble for putting money before human lives.
