Marx and Smith Blog :D
This week in class, the main thing that we worked on was our scripts for when Karl Marx and Adam Smith meet and have conversations. This was my favorite thing we've done so far, because it was actually interesting and I learned a lot more about communism (because I was Marx) because I had to be him and I had to understand the government to some extent of how he did. I liked that we had to read it in front of the class, because then it actually made me work hard because I didn't want look like a fool if I didn't understand it. I liked that we had to coordinate a few other countries in our script, because then I got to see how the capitalist and communist government worked in each of the countries, and if they were effective of not.

Very true! I was worried that I was going to insult the great founder of Capitalism ( I was Adam Smith), but I think we all did a great job! But realizing the similarities and differences of how other countries than the US interested me as well.
ReplyDeleteI was also Marx in the debate this week! I learned a lot this week about the economies we studied actually functioned in real life. I definitely agree that it was an educational week!
