Good Start to the Business Plan!
This week Emily, Danielle and I got a lot of work done! Our business is called QuickSand. It is a delivery service that partners with different food companies around the oceanfront in Virginia Beach and offers the service of delivering food to customers. This is not a normal delivery business, because with QuickSand, the food and/or beverage is delivered straight to the beach or designated area the customer requests. Anyone on the beach with a mobile device is able to have the QuickSand app. We will also have 4 kiosks along the boardwalk so that people can order their meals and have them delivered to the kiosk area at the time the customer selected they want their food. People will find information about our business and app by advertisements in hotels, by airplane banners, and radio commercial. We really think that this is a good business plan because from personal experience, having to pack up everything I have at the beach just to go get food, then come back to the beach is annoying! It would be awesome to have someone deliver me food and the only thing I would have to do is go on a app, or go to the boardwalk and order on a kiosk. It is a little overwhelming that we have so much to do for our business and that we have to think of every single small detail in order to have our business work. Hopefully it all works out and we can find everything we need. I'm excited about finishing this project but I don't want to present it in front of the class because I hate talking in front of people, especially people I don't know or people I'm not expecting.

I'm not a fan of talking either. It's really not fun when you don't know them personally either.
ReplyDeleteI'm happy with our business plan so far. We definitely chose a business that has way to many details to go with it but there are also a lot of perks. I don't like presenting either but hopefully we'll have time to plan it out.
ReplyDeleteI ma really happy with what we have done so far! But I agree that the presenting part will be really hard, I hate talking in front of people I get really nervous.
